The concept of this project was to create a spa complex including sauna, hamam, bath, shower and a place for rest occuping minimum of space but making it comfortable to move around and providing clear space distinction.

 

"Turkish bath" is the main distinctive feature of the composition. Historically it is known as a place for cleansing and relaxation. Thus the focal point is to achieve maximization of comfort and create a special soothing atmosphere. So works the illumination of the ceiling which produces an effect of a starry night.

 

Тhe place for rest also cherishes Islamic traditions. Low sofas are situated around the perimeter of a coffee table forming intimate cosy area. To enhance the effect and delimit spacies the place is surrounded by carved lattices which maintain the traditions of the East as well. Remarkably, the sofas additionally play the role of a storage, where different things, needed in the bathroom, can be hidden. A bath space is combined with the place for relaxation in order to make a room more airy and to provide it with light. It penetrates through lattices and fills room with flickering shadows, creating a misty soothing atmosphere.
