The aim of the series was to draw an attention to the issue of preservation the monuments of timber architecture in Russia, in particular the churches which are gradually ruining and vanishing in the past.

The works took part in the exhibition in The Saint-Petersburg House of Scientists [Saint-Petersburg, Russia] and were published in the catalogue of the exhibition.
